Some “ancient” music for you

There’s a musician I like a lot, Michael Levy, who calls himself “Klezfiddle1” on Youtube. Using a cheap repro lyre bought off the web, he has dedicated himself to learning and making available what little is known about ancient Jewish, Greek and Egyptian music. (Much of the time this means improvising within the known modes, but it still sounds really cool!) He’s also a pretty decent fiddle player.

I think it was you who shared his stuff with me in the past. Anyway, loved it and have been a big fan ever since.
